Parents' visiting visa

Hi,

My parents would be visiting me here in HK (from Pakistan) next month.

I called up the chinese embassy in Pakistan and basically they told that if I apply for their visa (i need 40 day visiting visa) it will be quicker in HK than if they do themselves in Pak.

But there is one confusion, I also want to go with them to Shenzhen when they come. Now if I apply for their visa here in HK, I am not sure how will they get shenzhen visa. Can I also apply for them for Shenzhen visa here in HK (seems difficult to me?). Otherwise what would be the bext course?

Shall I apply here for HK visa and they apply for chinese visa there in Pak. (might not be convenient as they might ask for hotel stay etc. , I am not sure if I can act as sponsor for Shenzhen visa). Please help.

I am assuming Macau visa is on arrival and should not be a problem here.

Thanks a lot.
B

Pakistani passport holders do require a visa, but it is, in principle, available on arrival for a fee. No idea how long it takes or what the rejection rate is though:

As I understand the lengthy discussions on China visas there is no way a non-HK-resident Pakistani passport holder can get any sort of mainland visa here.

I do wonder if it might be easier to show the whole trip together and get all three visas from the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in Pakistan...

Thanks. Yeah I was also thinking that it would make more sense that way, to apply all 3 together in embassy.

But the thing is that they might ask who is sponsoring the visa for china . i can do it for HK but not China, I guess. Then comes the added hassle of showing them the hotel rervations (which i dont think we would do etc.)............
