car parking at border

Hi All

Need help finding a long term parking space near a border crossing so I can leave a car there to drive when I go to China, I need a secure spot. Does anyone have any information? you cam PM me

It depends where you go over - if it is at Lo Wu and you catch the train then there is plenty of secure parking at Sheung Shui.

Hi Larac

I need to find a secure spot on the Shenzen side close to the border. I want to park a car for use in China Can anyone help?

if money is no issue, why dont u just park at the lo wu border on the chinese side, there is a large carpark on the left handside, dont know how much it cost.

I am more concerned about security at the lowu border. The carpark there is pretty bad. I had a driver drop me off there several times and it does not look very safe but who knows maybe someone has experience parking there.

all cars parks are the same, they will require a ticket to get out of the building, if someone is intent on stealing your vehicle, then it will get stolen where ever u park it.

All u have to do it try and prevent it as much as possible by putting steering wheel clamp, gear box clamp as security.

Car parks will never bear the responsibility if your car gets stolen, even in HK, it is printed in small print on the card or written up on the wall that if your vehicle gets stolen or damaged they will not bear any responsibility. Which to me sucks as it costs a bomb to park there but they will not look after it.
