I want to thank many of you on Geoexpat. Several months ago I was reading your forums for info on getting a work visa. Found a lot of great info here, and all has worked out. I want to particularly thank PDLM (though you did increase my anxiety a bit) as well as BORIS and KNOW IT ALL, all of whom provided me with the info and direction needed. Just curious. How long did it take you from the date of submission to getting a positive answer?

It took almost exactly 30 days, but they say each application is different. It is assigned to one immigration officer, or so I hear, and if that person happens to have a heavy work load, or a holiday scheduled, or whatever, it could vary quite a bit.

If you can get a commission, beer or other, all the power to you!
