Hi,

I am relocating from Toronto to HK with my 2 dogs. We are settling in Discovery Bay and would like some information on good vets around the area. I was told that there is a vet neat the Plaza. Does anyone haev any experience with this clinic?

We love living in DB; great place for dogs. Our experience w/ the vet practice in the plaza has been very good (we have a labrador retriever). There is also a practice in nearby Mui Wo that I have heard good things about. We also have no problem finding our dog's food here either. Good Luck!

Sue-sue: Where in Toronto do you live and when are you moving to Hong Kong? (We live in Vandorf - Woodbine & Aurora Rd)

We are going too but not for a few more years when we retire but I'd love to hear how your move went and the companies you used. Especially the process for moving your two dogs as we have a miniature dachshund and will need to move her too. What kind of dogs do you have?

Good luck on your re-location. We are hoping to move to the Mui Wo area so we'll be just a short hike away from DB.

We will be visiting in September and hope to do this hike during our first week (of 3) when we will be staying in Mui Wo.

After your move, please post how your dogs handled the long flight from TO. Are you flying AC or CP?

There Is a Monopoly in DB so either u like the vet or u like the vet, alternatives would be taking u re dog by the ferry outside discovery bay...

i hear dr joe, who used to be at the vet in db and now has his own practice on lantau south, sometimes comes to db for house calls....we always found him to be very good.
