Twinings Ceylon Orange Pekoe loose tea in tins

Anyone knows a place in HK that carries this tea (UK blend - see thumbnail)?

It's increasingly becoming a rarity in stores. Not just HK, I find even Teamasters back in Toronto don't sell it any more (after I cleaned out the entire stock in their Eglinton Scarborough outlet to take to the Far East in 94 ).

As always, it's easy to find what I'm NOT looking for (same brand in teabag form, and tins of Twinings Darjeeling, Earl Grey, and English Breakfast), but even whenever I've popped into Great, Market Place, Oliver's, & 360, this particular one's always conspicuously missing. Maybe it's some sole distributor fallen into a rut.

For years, for my morning cuppa, I've blended it roughly 1:3 with Lipton Darjeeling Green Label (Indian, not UK, packaging) which thankfully Indian grocers in HK always stock. Any leads on the Twining front will be much appreciated!!

Hi HKfella,

I have seen the Ceylon Orange Pekoe tea few months back but can't recall where exactly. Noticed it, as a friend got me a tin from Sri Lanka previously.

Have you checked out Sogo or City Super in Causeway bay? Thats where i used to go most for food shopping, as I used to work around there.

Good luck!

CitySuper in IFC also carried it a while ago.

If not Twinings, Harvey Nics used to do it in loose tea form but I don't know if the HK branch will carry it.

Best to phone and check.
