I bought a Wii in Toysrus (TST) last year, they had one set up for people to try.

I bought this for a friend so don't have much experience with the game and I'm also not sure about the actual 'Wii Fit' but after 3 rounds of the boxing game I'm ready to sit down!

What's the best price you can get a non-japanese Wii in HK these days? And where?
Do they have this Wii fit everybody's talking about?
Thanks!

apparently Wii Fit will be available in HK next month. It should be compatable with the UK / US versions of Wii - Acording to the guy in the Computer game shop in WanChai. Not sure of the address but I always get lost trying to find it and can never find my way out once in there....... Now I just get my husband to go he loves it there.

Eh?

There's no version of the game that works on multiple region consoles. There's a US, UK and Japanese version of Wii Fit, which works on the US, UK and Japanese Wii consoles respectively.

The Japanese version of Wii Fit is already available in Hong Kong.

The European version should be available here as it's out in Europe, but no one here really plays on the European consoles so it might be hard to find (practically everyone with a Wii here has it chipped to play pirated games).

The USA version is out tomorrow in the USA so should be in Hong Kong next week.

You can try out the Wii at a number of shops in Sham Shui Po (Golden Arcade or Golden Centre -- whichever has the ground floor).

Wii Fit is quite fun, for what it's worth. I've enjoy playing it, but DDR is still my favorite for move-about activity. Can't wait for the Taiko Drum Wii game!
