I kind of think Wii Fit's utterly terrible myself. Half the games are "standing still and balancing". That won't make you fit! Might as well go practice yoga...

Wii Sports tennis though, that's much more active. Shame the average HK apartment is a bit too cramped for a decent multiplayer game. Plus you might as well just book a real tennis court.

After just thirty minutes of Wii Fit yesterday, my abs are super sore today, so I think it is quite good. As someone who used to do a lot of Iyengar Yoga, their Yoga is quite good too. It's well thought out. Standing still and balancing, when you have to keep your center of gravity aligned and not move it is actually much more difficult than it seems.

Well, it's better than nothing, but likewise, virtually everything else is better still.

Wii Fit Question

I have a US version of Wii..and i had it mod chipped before I left Toronto....
which version of Wii fit should I buy here? Japanese? or US?
I've heard rumors that If i buy the Japanese Wii Fit...i'll screw up my system?

I have the automatic wii update...so it already updated me to version 3.2....

If you have the US Version Wii, you need to buy the US Version Wii Fit.

For the US version, price is wayyyyyyyyyyy inflated right now. US retails for $90 USD, but since there is a worldwide shortage in the whole world and HK doesn't have a retail price for video games, $1100 HKD is very high.

If it was normal prices, should be around $700-800 HKD. I will wait, should be a month or so for prices to go down to close to normal. $1100 is about 30% more than normal, I can't afford that.

Would be best if less people buy it at $1100 HKD to force HK sellers to mark it down sooner. I can't wait!

It's worse still, cause only expats and tourists by the US games, so lots of shop owners are out to rip-off such people.

ok just got back, and its definitely a revamped japanese version of the WiiBoard, which supports 136kg. the absolute minimum price seems to be just above 600. Do I smell a good business idea

$600 seems a bit over the top for the board alone considering that's almost the full price of the game + board in Europe. This is one of those weird situations where people in HK are being ripped off and paying over the odds, thanks to sellers changing their prices willy nilly based on supply and demand, instead of sticking to the RRP as they do in the EU.
