I am starting a small business in Hong Kong and am keen initially to rent one property to use for residential purposes and also register our business there. We would be a small consulting firm with just 2 employees.

Does anyone know if it is permitted in HK to use some property for both purposes and it so any suggestions for places to look?

Should not be a problem in most residential building.
TST, Sheung Wan, Wachai would be good areas to look for such buildings.
