Commute question - MTR??

Do you have to get the ferry to Central from DB? Could you just as easily get a bus to Sunny Bay and then the MTR to Central? Do they take a comparable amount of time and money?

Thanks, as ever.

Ferry faster and more direct ... not to mention more peaceful & relaxing ... a good way to start and end the work day

The ferry does have wifi if one does choose to work ...

worse case scenerio one can take the MTR

As long as one can catch the MTR in time before it closes and the bus before it leaves the station ...

In comparison the ferry is faster (and more relaxed) - traveling to Central only.

yes, it is possible, but takes longer and costs more and is not nearly as comfortable.

thanks ladies Like I said, it was just in case the ferries weren't running and hubby still needed to get to work.

Cara - no other choice gives us the same environment for the kids really, which is the most important thing for us. very happy with it really thanks to everyone's great advice

From the money-side of things, you can go onto the MTR website and put in the start and finish stations and it will give you the fare cost and travel time.
