Theres a relatively new restaurant just opened in central called Beo ...

its located just up from LKF I think on arbornault road ... pretty cool decor with bar downstairs.

The question specified "organic", not vegetarian. Surely that is quite a different question.

Though I have to say that I don't think you'll find any clear definition of what an "organic restaurant" actually is.

(Or, rather, you'll find as many definitions as there are restaurants making the claim.)

I'm the Chef of Beo* and all my ingredients (execpt for 3) are organic or wild caught. All of the organic ingredients used are either USDA, AUS Organic Cert, EcoCert, HOFA certified. We are the only fully organic restaurant in town that can show the certifications to back it up.

saw an organic cafe when walking through lamma island on sunday. can't recollect the name tho ...

nice little island as was the first time there for me ... although if your looking for somewhere convenient i guess the the 30mins boat journey (screaming kids inclusive!!) could be a bit prohibitive ...

That would be Bookworm Cafe. It's entirely vegetarian, with some vegan and some organic dishes. And very nice they are too.

But we're not really clear what the original poster meant by "organic". Beo claims to be organic, but clearly isn't vegetarian. There are quite a lot of vegetarian restaurants around, most of which are not organic, and some of which have organic dishes.

The sister restaurant of Bookworm Cafe on HK Island is "Life", next to the escalator just below Staunton Street. Again, it's wholly vegetarian and partly organic.
