protocl is on a distinguished road
damn these agents at the commissioners office...

after i dropped off my application for the hkid card, i went to the chinese visa office in wanchai, just to apply for a 30 day or a freak'in 10 day visa.
basically this is the short conversation i had with that byatch in window 8.

agent: you are denied for a visa, no explaination is given.

protocl: the u.s isnt on the list of the 33 'no visa' referrence.

agent: it isnt your nation, its you!!! no explaination...

i have never committed any criminal activity in china, never cheated the chinese gov. for anything.
little do they know, my father is in a negative health condition, he had a small blood vessel burst in his head last year and now he hasnt any family members to take care of him, cause all of the family is in the states and im the only one in china...

Did you ask to speak to her superior ... did you present substantial documentation, in English or Chinese, to support your reason for going to China???

If you don't reside or work in Hong Kong permanently, you are required to apply Chinese visa from the Embassy or Consulate-General of Peoples' Republic of China in your resident country.
see here

I agree that some government officials - wherever - have a serious attitude problem.

did you show them your temp. HKID card? With that you could most likely get the visa. (Especially if you have other China visas in your passport.
