| Hi, I am 23 yo and moving to HK next month. My company will rent me a flat in HK so i do not have to worry about housing costs. Anyway, is 18,000 HKD/month enough to live in HK? I mean having some fun (travelling, hanging out, bars,...),using MTR transportation system, having broadband and cellphone, and having fitness center subscription.![]() Many thanks for your help. |

| If the company is paying for the flat .. what you have is not bad ... considering locals make on average HK$12k to HK$15k and they have to pay for the shelter, food and other necessities. This thread may help you make the dollars you make go a bit further ... Best ways to save money |
