I feel kind of silly asking... but do most apartments (or any) include an automatic dish washer? And from the pics I've seen... is that the clothes Washer & Dryer in the kitchen?
Most expats employ a domestic helper so that tends to be instead of a dishwasher. And except in the very big apartments, the kitchens tend to be smaller than elsewhere so there often simply isn't room.
But you can buy dishwashers here readily if you want.
