Hi all,

I am looking to buy a tailored suit for around $600-$700 USD. After browsing through older posts, it seems like Chan's name pops up alot, but that's probably too expensive for me.

I am just wondering if there are good tailors who fall into my price range. Thanks!

Hmmm on that budget you might be better off going to shenzhen but then the visa issue could be a problem and you will need a few trips for fitting etc.

Or for that money just buy an off the peg suit.

Not being snide here, but there are lots of threads that cover tailor recommendations. Just type "suits" or "tailors" into the search box.

The price range you mention will be fine for HK. Cheap suits start at around 2.5k, ones that I would call good start at around 5k.

Tai Pan Row Tailors should just about be able to do you something in your price range, though obviously not with "brand name" fabric. Go to the Galleria branch for slightly lower prices than the IFC branch.
