so, should i visit the 25th floor just in case?
cause im worried i probably ticked off the wrong catagory and theyll auto-deny me...

i have time to go tomorrow, should i?, or just dropping off the application good enough?

sorry for the double posts, but ive read here that the immd personal would give a referrence number per application, but i dropped mine's off in the mail, i didnt get any ref. number...is this bad?

anywoo, how could i check the status of application??

The fundamental problem seems to be that you applied for the wrong thing to the wrong department. (i.e you applied for a HKID card rather than for Right of Abode - you have to get the RoA or a Visa and THEN apply for a HKID card; they are two separate things). Undoubtedly this will cause you application to be delayed, but if you believe that the application did end up being sent to the right place then you need to wait for a few working days to see if you receive an acknowledgement in the mail.

well, i followed what that lady had told me and she said to drop off the applications and copies on the 2nd floor, plus she knew my situation...

do you think i have to reapply?
