I'm audio engineer that just moved to Hong Kong one month ago from Washington D.C. I have several certifications ranging from Studio production to sound reinforcement and live performance. I also have a year and half experience working as an A/V technician. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction as far as obtain work in this field, or at the least; is there anyone out there working in this field willing to network with me? I would say very little for one who manages to fry his own Xbox through plugging a 110V power supply into a 220V supply. But if contacts rather than competence can get you a job in any town then I guess Hong Kong is it.

Do you have the right to work here or would you need an Employment Visa?
