Air quality...south versus...

A response from one of my other threads has prompted me to ask:

Do you think the air quality is comparable between Ap Lei Chau and close-by and, say, something closer to the north, say kennedy town since this was the suggestion.

Further, would you also say the air quality would be comparable between Ap Lei Chau and, say, midlevels or somewhere else nearer to wan chai?

Because if thats the case, then there goes my rationale for living further away from wan chai than we might need to...

...this is SO not to disprove your suggestion, merely to gain further opinion

Unfortunately, there isn't an air quality monitoring station on the south side of HK Island, but you can get all the current and historical data you might want on air quality generally here: Environmental Protection Department

Don't get too hung up on the terms "Low", "Medium" or "High" - these are arbitrarily assigned labels. It's the relative differences in different areas that might interest you.

you know... you could even head to clearwater bay. it would be roughly 30-45 minutes by taxi & mtr to wanchai, with more space, possibly a garden and relatively cleaner air....
