| stand-up Just a few pointers if I may. 1)The most important thing in stand-up comedy is the line-up of the comedians. Vivek is hilarious but MOST of the regulars at Takeout aren't exactly brilliant and they don't refresh their materials. It's necessary to know who--everyone of them--are performing. 2) I assume many of us on this site don't speak Canto, myself included, so if it's 20% in Canto it's 20% jokes lost on us. Have a great evening. |

| thanx for the pointers, we're aware of the English/Canto issue but as my club is a language exchange club, most of the people are open to it. I could run 2 events instead but we're going with one first to see how it goes. Also i don't update this page very often, the event page is in facebook and it's kept up to date there. Comedians: Vivek Mahbubani (Hong Kong's Funniest Man 2007) James Lee Ryan Hynek Andrew Chu Jami Gong & possibly a Special Guest Star hehe Food: The Buffet Menu will consist of Mexican dishes (Tacos/Burritos/Quesadillas), Cheese Nachos, Taco Salads, Assorted Pizzas, Juices, Soft drinks & Water. There should be something for everyone. (I didn't forget about you vegetarians and non-meat/non-seafood people) ^^ (The Buffet will be available from 6.30pm to 8pm) And it's going to be a full house that night. So we'll have a great evening indeed, thanks |

| Hey thanks again for the tips. We're severals times oversold for the event so we're probably going to do another one later to meet demand. And probably one more just focused on the locals in cantonese. Cheers mate! Quote:
