I need to buy a cheap cheap car as a stop gap for a month or two as both of my cars are in the shop.

If anyone has a car for sale (under 20k) please send me a PM.

I am also looking at the usual car websites but so far not much luck.

Last weekend a mate went to Vin's in North Point and offered 12k on a 23k listed car and the dealer sold it to him. Mate took it to the AA for a full check up and the only thing wrong with it was the brake pads which need to be changed.
Go to these dealers and offer them base prices for cars which aren't as popular in HK such as Renault, Peugeot, Ford, LR Discovery etc and you can walk away with a good car for a few months running time.

Thanks for the update. I have heard both good and v bad things about HK used car dealers - and been burnt myself.

I might wander along to Vins at some point.
