It's Dojo! you can take a look

One thing I like about this is that for some reason it seems interesting. In hong kong it's hard to find places where they teach Jujistu and other Japanese Styles as I think. later will find out more about this and see! take care!

Spears are legal to carry around provided they are covered. My friend has one which she takes to the park for lessons.

That actually looks like a pretty cool dojo and I'm always interested in improving my edged weapon skills. If I take a course there, the Crazy Jay the Ninja comments I've been getting recently will never stop. :P

Yes, that place seems cool! Nice to learn how to Use a sword! Of cause not going to use on anyone but at least to feel how valuable someone’s life is! Early days like in 2004 they have been offering just a one day course on the art. I think just to feel what actually that is. Don't know whether they still have it! Should try later and see! by the way I didn’t know people were calling you Ninja. You seem to know lot about swords so who knows whether you are a Secret Ninja Hahaha..... Take care!

Often in Mongkok, so last night visited Sino Centre. Yes on 3rd floor small shop #243? with action figures and even Superman! still have 8-10 Katana swords. Have to look carefully inside, up on the wall. The guy said a standard one cost HKD 700+ (I am Chinese, so don't know "non-Chinese" price!).

In 2005, I bought shorter blade one for HKD550 and mailed it in a box to friend in the UK. He emailed back he received it OK!

If serious hobby, may I advise you also buy wooden Katanas for fighting practice. Same shop sells simple wooden replicas for HKD 99.

Cheaper, SAFER for you and your opponent!

Happy chopping

$700 sounds really cheap! Might be worth taking a look though.

Thanks Via, great tips! Actually it's always better to keep a wooden one to practice at home because if something terrible happens, there is no reverse button in life! take care guys!
