CAN ANYONE tell me .......

Q.1) WHERE can I develop 1000 photos at reasonable price (and most IMPORTANTLY, ABLE to ALLOW me to do basic editing like colour enhancement and cropping on the spot) ....(both fotomax & Kodak confirmed they do not have such facility)

Q.2) I also need to buy photo albums, MUST have Black insert paper quality with wooden or hard paper cover for size 4R? (have searched IFC, TST, Lane Crawford, Harbour City, Sogo - NONE) ...... all they have were those kiddy, plastic stuff with rings .....

Q1) Are these digital files or film? If digital then why not do the cropping & colour-correcting on your pc in the comfort of your own home? Doesn't sound like much fun cropping and correcting 1000 images on a booth in the shop. I think that most ordinary photo shops have those little machines that can do basic cropping and colour correcting though if you really want to do it in the shop, I've never used them myself though.

If film (or indeed digital) then of course the pro labs can help you with this. You can ask them to print a contact sheet and mark your crops on the contact sheet, for example, and they can also do the colour correction for you but then they won't meet your 'cheap' criteria.

Q2) Can't remember the name of it but there's a fancy paper/stationery shop in Princes Building in Central and I think another branch in admiralty (not Pacific Place the other mall across the bridge) that sells albums that sound similar to your description. Sounds like the kind of thing you might also find in those home furnishing shops like Muji, Log-On, FrancFranc, GOD etc.

this is for digital. the problem is I had already done advance editing at home, but when I took it to fotomax - the colour resolution came out AWEFUL !

in USA, the photo shops have work-station where I can review my edition and allow me to make further amendment on the colour resolution as well as cropping the size before I confirm the order. I was hoping I could find similar shops in Hong Kong.
