well maybe I'm not 'white' enough to get it despite the colour of my skin because I still find it offensive and I don't like most of the stuff mentioned. It mostly comes across as frightfully pretentious and I have the urge to kick the author somewhere painful and tell him/her to get a life.
i think the writing is supposed to be sarcastically-funny. it's more ironic because in the u.s. there's always been stereotypes about other races (eg. asians are good in math, blacks are good basketball players etc.) but nothing really about whites. so this is kinda interesting. this is a very american-centric though.
