Looking for a packer but not to move!

Hi all,
We need a pretty heavy double bed packed up and some side tables as well and then moved downstairs to our parking space - we need to clear the room but will not be shipping the stuff out for a while. Any suggestions as to whom I would contact to do the job as it's obviously not appropriate to call a shipping agent or moving agent? Thanks for all suggestions.

Do you have all (or can you get) the packing materials and all you're asking for is some muscle? If so (and you're not too far from the mid-levels) then I'm happy to lend mine in return for a contribution to a charity. Maybe it just needs one more person here to do the same and you're sorted.

Thanks PDLM for kind offer, we would happy to contribute to a charity in return. We are in Pokfulam so not sure if that is too far. Where would we look for packing materials? Sorry if it's a silly question but we don't have a clue. If you could point us in the right direction then we could investigate. The bed would have to be taken apart though so not sure if too complicated (can you tell we are useless at DIY!) Thanks in any case for the helpful reply.

I'm not sure - it depends what you are trying to do. With humid time of year approaching if you just put a mattress in your carpark without sealing it in something then it will likely be wrecked within weeks, and a wooden bed frame might not last much longer in reuseable condition.

Good point about the humidity thank you! Will try to contact some of the removal companies and see if they will just do a good packing job in that case and tell them we plan to ship at a later date. Thanks so much again for the thoughtful reply.

The other option is that you could rent some space in a controlled-environment storage facility like: Hong Kong self storage public facility
(Not a recommendation - just the first link Google threw up)
