Here's a little preview clip produced by the Australian Association of Hong Kong, to give you a better idea of what social activities are on offer.

For $650 membership including the once off joining fee, it represents ripper value.

More details here on Australian Association of Hong Kong The association has been running in Hong Kong since 1954. It's a great way to keep in touch with a large cross section of Aussies making their professional career mark in Hongkers, especially during the monthly sundowners for a casual drink and a bite to eat.

The Australian Consulate and AUSTCHAM run a charity black tie ball every once in awhile too, so its worth becoming a member, so you can receive the whats on monthly magazine.

Hope that helps the fellow Aussies out there, and their fans. I'm an ex-inner city bayside Melbournian btw, living out in the far reaches of the New Territories, overlooking Castle Peak Bay, and loving it..

Cheers big ears
Hi,

Thank u for the advice. Actually, I have been to once " Friday" drink gathering of Australian Association of Hong Kong. But I didn't join, mainly because I travel around a lot. I'm not sure worth doing it or not.

So, are the memeber of Australian Association of Hong Kong? It seems like you have been around HK for a while?

Just for my curiosity, what are you doing here in HK?

Have a good one!

Ameli
