All I needed was my business card, copy of HKID and my passport (along with the application form and money).

He must be permanent, else he would have only got 6 months. Non ID card holders still as per yesterday can only get double entry. But no travel reservations needed anymore.

when a visa is expired and you say renew, does it simply means reapply?? or there is a seperate form whereby you can renew since mine just expired 2-3weeks ago

just tried to get a multiple 6 months but CTS refused to do it.

the reason given is although i am having HKID(this is a must for multiple entry application in hk now), but my work visa in hk expire in jan which is less than 7 months.

although i have proof that i am on permanent contract but the officer still refuse to do it.

i need to renew my hk work visa in order to get the multiple entry for 6 months.....

still very inconvinience.

Just to update you guys, if you want to apply 6 months multiple entry visa you need to have:

1. valid HKID
2. have atleast 7 months valid visa in HK(if yours is not permanent HKID)

I guess china government are happy to see the factories doing export business closing down faster....

Why dont u go to China Resources building and try there. CTS is still a travel agent, i would go to the main visa office and try there. Dont know if its any different but i think its worth a try. My friend went to CTS and they asked him for $Hk 800 for a single entry visa. What a bloody rip off, this was just 2 weeks ago. He went to the main visa office today, waiting to see what he got and how much it was. will update tmrw.

Yes CTS is always so expensive and totally overpriced.

But for a VISA, best to try other smaller places. From experience these are always cheaper.

I got my 3 year multi-entry VISA last week. Cost me $1880 and I got it in 4 days too.
