The "Olympic period" ends on 17.10.2008 - this is the date we have to look for. Dont ask me why it is this date. It seems somewhat meaningless...... Cheers !

Reporting that I did my China visa application in the Chinese embassy in Stockholm today and it looks like once again I could apply for the multi entry visa type. I applied for my 1 year multi entry tourist visa with no additional information such as return ticket or advance hotel bookings.

Will get my application back on Tuesday next week and will try to keep you posted.

Cheers!

Just had confirmation from work that we can now apply for multiple entry visas again. I think work uses CTS for visas.

Three Year?

If anyone applies for a three-year multiple "L" (tourist, leisure) visa from here in Hong Kong, can they report the results please? This was possible before, for Hong Kong permanent residents at least. Thanks.

Has anyone an idea if it works for kids? My 5 year old son, Australian passport holder, dependent visa for HKG. He is too little for a HKID. He needs to get a multiple which permits him to stay with his grand parents in Shenzhen also for longer periods. Thanks for the advice

Getting my guys to check also, real work visa's is what we were reduced to! We have some F renewals coming up so will be interesting to see if the multi's are L or F visas.
