| | | Hi All.
I am back IN England at the moment awaiting news as to whether I can get a new Multi-Entry Visa etc. I have to say, the Chinese Embassy in London is playing games too. They will not issue anything unless one has the Visa Notification Form which has now been declined/refused/cant print out but 9 factories in 3 different provinces!!!.
I have also heard via a friend IN Hong Kong now that all valid multi entry visas are going to be revoked on July 1st!!!
Can anyone tell me if they have had success with a visa application/Notification form AND what is the latest tripe being trawled out from the Foreign Affairs Office?
Cheers all

In addition not everyone knows where to find the office at Lo Wu/Lok Ma Chau vehicle crossing and some people feel more comfortable getting their visa ahead of time.

I already experienced this since I have to go to Hanggang/Lok Ma Chau Vehicale Crossing to go get the VISA. BTW this was just last weekend.

Yes, that was mentioned in my post. They have never had a visa office at the Lok Ma Chau Railway Terminus. There is not enough demand. Lo Wu is the only visa office which is needed as most foreigners who do not know Shenzhen find it easiest to go in through Lo Wu and not the other crossings.

| I read this in a newspaper recently. Not sure if its true though.
Personally, I think it's best now to simply get a Tourist visa as the whole new procedure for F visa seems to uncertain and unclear to me.

2. A better source of information is the new article in the New York Times yesterday ... interesting read as usual.

A German friend of mine ( Multi Visa expired, tried and failed to have in renewed in HK AND Germany ) was witness to a tourist visa refusal at the embassy. " You have been to China this year already so I don't believe you are a tourist - you have to apply for a business visa and your paperwork is not correct - refused ! "
With episodes like this and all the other confusion, the New York article is no surprise to those of us following the story all this time.
We are helping him find manufacturing services outside of China ( he makes and assembles in Guangdong ) as we also actively looking at production outside now. With 3 price rises given this year - so far - every business needs stability and more perhaps than just lowest price. IMHO - China is not just blowing the PR war its losing key battles in the economic way. Like the Shanghai stock market when it was rising to 6,000 and all where crowing that China was invincible, the chickens are now coming home to roost.
