Well, if its that guy, then all my conspiracy theories have been blown away. Always thought Hemlock was Jake's alter ego.

Hemlock seems a bit too politically and economically aware of the world to be a therapist and lifestyle advisor.

I agree - one possibility I formed in my own mind while searching around this article was that Hemlock could be an alter ego of Jake (which would fit far better)...

That being so, this is probably just a slightly late April Fool's by the SCMP.
