I have heard Salsa is a great way of meeting new people and picking up hot girls. Does anyone have any suggestions of good classes i can take here in Hong Kong, I am keen to learn salsa and become the king of the dance floor, though have found it hard to get dancing at bars/clubs as everyone already seems to know what they are doing.

Are there any internationally recognised salsa qualifiations people take?

check out prive tonight (monday night), on whyndham street.
they offer free salsa night, u can check out the steps and speak to the instructor (franky) and get more info about classes from him!

i believe it starts at 8pm?

Actually it starts at 8.30pm with an intro lesson to 'Rueda' by Franky till 9:30pm. 'Rueda' is a salsa group dance (in a circle) - lots of fun!!

I went last week and had lots of fun!! I'll be there tonight too

We definitely need fresh faces for Salsa...especially guys, why y'all so shy???

Because we have problems coordinating >1 extremities at the same time

and because it's an one-hour-plus commute from CU. Anyone knows about salsa in Shatin?
