One thing I can say.. of all the restaurant groups out there, I do know that the Igors group has well trained managers and staff.

Either an isolated incident OR ... something like PDLM mentioned.

It is often surprising to hear the other side of the story.

no probs at the Boathouse...

Well we regularly go to either Lord Stanley or the Boathouse when we are in Stanley and have never been treated badly. Sometines the service is a bit slow but it usually doesn't matter as we are a bit more relaxed than we would be in central !!Food in the boathouse has always been good too.

understand your problem but could you please clean up your english it is so awful to read. Try writing a sentence or even a paragraph without the word "like" other than as a verb, maybe you could stop using it in your speech too.

Wait....you created an account on this site, just to post in this thread, to complain about a user's grammar? Really?

PDLM, you just got knocked off the top of the pedant's hill.

[pedant]You should start your sentences with a capital letter, and your first clause needs a subject. "English" has a capital E. And you really should learn how to use semi-colons - your post would benefit from two of them.[/pedant]

We have had a few bad experiences at The Boathouse but no more than any other busy place in any city.
Igor's staff are some of the best in the business and you will rarely find disgruntled staff. I have worked closely with many of them from the big man himself down to the onion choppers and have always been impressed with their work ethic.

I see where the first semi-colon is needed; where is the other?

One cannot assume that the OP is a native English speaker; then again one cannot assume he/she is not a native English speaker.

On reflection perhaps it is best only with one. My original thinking was to treat the request as a rhetorical one not really requiring a question mark and to use a semi-colon at that point. But if we're going to get very picky then my correction of this, were I to be an English teacher, would be as follows, with the bold highlighting simply to show where I have made changes.

Done like that the semi-colon could also be a full stop.
