Hey I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if any of you would know where to get a laser. My friend has a powerful green laser but cannot recall where he got it.
If you know where i can get a strong laser in Hong Kong, please help!

well- thayre te standard presentation lasers 1mw output (about 0.75km long), 680nm wavelength..class II - theyre not gonna burn a hole on your skin though- if thats the type youre lookin for..

Since you are looking for 'powerful' lasers, you should look at the vids on youtube warning of 'ebay' (Chinese-made) green lasers without I.R.filters. Since infrared is invisible, and emits in a wider beam, its easy to do damage to yourself or others.

There's a chinese electronics gadget shop half way along Stanley street (s.side) that has 5mw green lasers for about $400 -750. (don't know if they have I.R. filters).

Wicked, I think it would be fun to take them down to TST and shine them over the harbour

Or dealextreme.com. Don't arse about with those green lasers (e.g. shine them at windows in other buildings) - they're pretty dangerous.
