Sigg water bottles

Does anyone know where I can buy Sigg water bottles? They're safe reusable bottles, and I'm looking for the sizes between .7 and 1 litre.

Thanks

I've seen bootleg ones in China, but maybe you can find some authentic ones in Mongkok.

Troca: did you get one yet? I use a Nalgene, but I really want a Sigg now (thanks to you). I went to Citysuper in Harbour City today, but they just had Nalgenes. Going to head to Times Square right now.

OK, just got the last black 0.75 at the Times Square store. It was considerably more expensive than it would've been in the US (HK$233). They're going for about $22 US shipped on eBay (within the US).

Going now:)

Hi Jay

I'm just off to Times Square now. I must admit they are more expensive than I realized, but I'm sure they will pay for themselves in no time. I'm telling myself that over and over...

There are five of us!

I may chicken out at the cash register. We'll see I like the black one too!

You can get 'safe' (non BPA) bottles from Camelbak and other companies these days. I'm not sure about local availability as I picked mine up from the US, but they're going to be cheaper than aluminium Siggs.

(I've never liked Siggs all that much 'cause you can't see into them to see if there is crud growing, and even if you could the necks are too narrow to clean through.) Siggs definitely look cool though.

You can use a brush to scrub the inside of a Sigg if need be. Sigg says the lining used on the bottles prevents mold and bacterial growth. You can get brushes pretty cheap at the 99-cent store places we have all over HK. I love my Sigg I can literally taste the difference between my Sigg and my Nalgenes.

I do need a good Camelbak reservoir for my North Face daypack though. Then again, I don't hike in the heat like I used to, so I don't need to carry as much water as I once did

Siggs sighted at Ocean Terminal

I didn't get my Siggs last night - unhappy with choice at City Super.

My son came home today and said he saw a much larger range at Ocean Terminal. He said they're on the top floor, in the Harbour City complex, near a Doc Martens and a Lids store, but he couldn't remember the exact name of the store. It had some homewares, and some bags (?).

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Sigg, Jay!

I checked out Citysuper in Harbour City the other day, but they didn't have any. If they have Siggs up on the top floor, that's pretty funny, since they were right under (over?) my nose the whole time. I found out Mountain Services (a store that sells gear for rock climbers) also stocks 'em. Going to see if I can swing by their store on Gloucester Road on Saturday. My dad REALLY likes my Sigg, so if I can get a plainer black one, I'll give him this one.

Actually, I just realized it's his birthday on Saturday, so I'm going to get him a new one. Toting this Sigg around has meant I get more than my 8 glasses of Brita-filtered water a day. It also looks good next to my black tactical pack, black Victorinox Hunter and my black Surefire 6P, all of which I carry every day.

Troca: thanks for bringing Siggs up. My Nalgenes are going to end up gathering dust. Please let me know what the range in Ocean Terminal is like if you go by there, and also what the prices are like.
