Changing a job...work permit questions

Hi,

I am now working in Hong Kong but I am on the process of trying to apply for a new job. But, I cannot help feeling worried about the work permit issue. I understand that it can be 'transferred' but that the new employer will need to submit documents to the Immigration Office. How long the transferring process will take? It took nearly two months for my existing work permit to be approved. Can the same time-line be expected in the case of transfer?

it only takes 4-6 weeks process time for getting a transferring work permit if your new employer submits all relevant documents.
