CFA Level December 2008 Exam

I just signed up for CFA December Level I exam, just wondering:

1. What are the classes that candidates take typically inHK? I only know Kaplan offers a class starting in June.

2. Where is the test center located?

3. Is there a study group that people go to ?

THanks!

I tried out the Kaplan Revision Course + Mock exam and I was quite disappointed with the Revision course as the majority consisted of the instructor pointing out which topics were more important and which were less important with no real in-depth Q&A or chance to brush up on your weak topics.

The mock exam, however, was a good chance to do the 3hr + 3hr format and then get a review of what topics needed work.

The exam will take place at Asiaworld Expo near the Airport and it is quite isolated. I ended up taking the two hour break in between to go to the Airport and sit in peace and quiet to do some last-minute cramming.

If you can manage to do a course or regular study group I would recommend it. I studied solo and would have liked the constant "kick in the butt" that comes from having a group or class to attend.

Good luck.
