Citibank CX card pulled? Hi Just really an FYI and a check. Postings on Flyertalk suggest that the Citibank CX co-brand card may have been pulled in HK. Anyone heard anything about this? BTW the flyertalk link is here: what happened to Cathay Citibank credic card - FlyerTalk Forums

Well, this will certainly send me back to last month's bill and seeif there are any changes noted. I haven't received anything from Citi stating this, unless they buried it in some sort of fine print "changes to your account" bill stuffer. Given the quality of, to use a term loosely, "customer service" at banks, nothing would surprise me.

Yes, I saw that too, although I haven't seen anything from Cathay or Citi on this either. If CX could do a tie-up with HSBC with equivalent benefits then I would be a happy bunny indeed.

I suspect what will happen is existing customers will get miles etc, up to a certain point while new applicants won't be able to apply. After a while existing customers will get normal Citi credit cards to replace the old CX co-brand ones.

Guess I better go out and spend a lot in the next couple of months, then.
