Mr&MrsB is on a distinguished road
Hi
Very interested to hear what you found accommodation wise. We are moving to HK in January 2009 with 2 labradors and a cat. Work is in Central, but we are accustomed to space and the outdoors. I would like a garden and pool and a sea view! Plus all the rest...

Baoan is pretty industrial and can be a daunting place to be for a China first timer. Little to do for entertainment, not a lot of open space for walking the dogs, very little English spoken, can be dusty, dirty and noisy in some areas.

Shekou would probably be the best suited for you. A lot of other expats, easy to eat, drink and travel. The airport is around 30 - 45 minutes away. Quality of life there is good, and it's a pretty peaceful place to live especially close to Seaworld.
