ps3 games (and bluray)

bonjour people.

so i now have a brand spanking new ps3, and want to get games for it!!

best place? understand it would be golden arcade and 188 wanchai road. any other places?

also where can i pick up blu-ray discs?

188 wanchai road is definately the place to go.

They also have a nice bluray store there. HMV carries a good line of BluRay also.

Mongkok MTR exit E2, walk straight ahead pass Sai Yeung Choi street, and its in a basement mall on your right.

There are around 3 to 4 shops there, much better selection than HMV would have (incl the Japanese re-mastered versions) and probably at 10-15% off HMV prices.

blu ray disc: exiting 188 wan chai, turn right and walk straight, after crossing the first street on the right hand corner of the 2nd street there is a basement mall of the emperors building with an escalator going down, there is a big music/dvd/blu ray store on the right which you cant miss...

I have just got a ps3 as well... feel free to pm me in the future, we could swap a few games or movies perhaps

BTW i'm off to Japan this weekend. worthwhile getting games there? i.e. cheaper, etc? also would there be language issues with getting games from Japan?

BTW, how do you find the PS3? Any comments? Is it chipped to play fake games?
I belive only two versions out, 40Gb and 80G?

I usually go to Shamshuipo MTR and venture into the Golden Computer Arcade.
I recently bought GTA4 for HK$350, and MGS4 for HK$400. The Central and HK island retailers were looking for at least HK$100 more per title !

The PS3 hasn't, as yet, been chipped/modded/hacked, so you can only play original games on it. Works well for me as both a games system and media centre.

Are Blu Ray discs not region locked, and I presume the HK ps3 will be locked to whichever region HK is in.

These Blu Ray's that will be sold, are they from the states (i.e. USA region), or from HK.
