Fun and Excitement at Happy Valley Racecourse in April starting from $1

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is launching a series of "$1 Surprising Offers"including admission, catering and shopping privileges at the Happy Valley race meetings in April (2/4, 9/4, 20/4 and 23/4). Participants will have a chance to win HK$10,000 cash voucher by joining the "Surprise Moment SMS Super Quiz". A total of HK$80,000 will be offered, with two winners for each meeting.

$1 for Admission

Only one dollar for admission to the public enclosure of Happy Valley Racecourse (admission to Leading Edge and Pavilion Stand will be extra) in April. In addition, all customers will receive two coupons* and one game entry form* upon admission to entitle them to the following fun and privileges:

SMS game with $20,000 prize permeeting

Each race-goer will receive a "Surprise Moment SMS Game" entry form upon admission, printed with two questions relating to the Happy Valleyraces. The horse racing theme music will be played twice randomly during the meeting. Participants are required to send the answer via SMS to a designated number as soon as the music starts. The first participant to send in the correct answer will win a $10,000 cash voucher.

$1 F&B offers

On purchase of any regular-priced food item at $20 or above at the Trackside Takeaway Counters (except McDonald's), an additional food or beverage item may be purchased at $1 with the coupon. Customers can select from a choice of local delicacies, confectionaries and soft drinks.

Alternatively, customers may purchase one jug of draught beer at the Beer Garden and get a second jug for $1 with the coupon.

$1 gift offers

On purchase of any regular-priced item at the Racecourse Gift Shop, customers can purchase a selection of souvenirs for only $1 with the coupon. The selection of items are as follows:

- Horse Racing Figurine
Original Price - HK$20

- Crystal Heart Phone Strap
Original Price - HK$20

- Crystal Crown Phone Strap
Original Price - HK$20

- Lucky Pony Pen
