alone in hong kong on new years

I will be staying in Hong kong for a couple of days between the 30th and 2nd, which means I'll be there for new year's eve. While it's not my first time being in Hong Kong, I don't know anyone and have only a rough idea of the nightlife...I am looking for interesting places/people to hang out on new year's. Last time I visited Hong Kong, I was a bit disappointed since I've heard a lot about the city's nightlife, but unfortunatley haven't had the chance to experience it.

I am 27, from Canada, and into all kinds of music, easy going, considered attractive, and definitley open-minded and easy going. If you can help in any way, your response would be greatley appreciated.

cheers

Hi there A_A_27 - I'm not in Hong Kong on New Year's Eve but if you're looking for a cool place to hang out try www.yumla.com It's a bar just off Wyndham Street (go down Pottinger Street) which is quite cool and close enough to the madness of Lan Kwai Fong if you get bored!

hi A_A

Hey there A_A. I'm also in a similar situation and I'm here until the 2nd. I'm more of a night person so I enjoy staying out late, or at least make the most of my trip. Went to LKF yesterday to Hei Hei and it was pretty happening. I wouldn't mind doing something more chill at New Year's also. I'm 26/M/from the States and considered good looking. Please contact me at calchow@netzero.net ASAP. Anyone else is welcome to respond. Thanks! Phone # in HK is 98415639.
