May not be 'cool' but seems to work very well as a combination (Amazonia, Neptune, Makati, Boracay, Laguna, Fenwick, etc etc). Perhaps it is an age thing, I also think the band in Amazonia are excellent.

I also wouldn't put Amazonia in the same category as the other bars on your list.

All the others are essentially brothels, and they all give working girls commission on the drinks they sell, so you get hassled. Amazonia isn't like that. They don't give commission, and the staff will throw out any girls who approach any other customer uninvited (or who don't buy a drink for themselves).

I agree Amazonia isn't like the others, but they do give commission - my wife got it when I bought her a drink much to our amusement.

How does one become a member of such clubs as Drop etc?

I tried getting in last month to no avail but im coming back to hk to work next month so would like the option of going to these places.
