| | | Job Hunting in HK Well, i've been looking so much treads here all about the experiences of job hunting in hk, where people from different backgroud and cultures, and nations. glad to know that some are successful. and i'm now looking forwards into it.
I'm graduated in IT fields from UK. Having 3 years working experiences in IT (programmer). i realized it's too dull and bored for me and recently i'm looking for a change in career, i would like to try something like recruitment firm and i think this will be a quite interesting job? i can help ppl to get good job with good pay, and i myself can gain the commissions... why not of trying? i can speak english, cantonese, mandarin, hakka fluently. i can read/ write both simplified/ traditional chinese.
i'm a Singapore PR and currently working in Singapore. Any chances for me in HK? greatly appreciate for your helps. | |

| | | just try any of the big multinational agents as you're in I.T you should know who they are.
But just because you have I.T experience it doesn't necessarily mean you are a great fit to work as an I.T recruiter.
You need to also be very resilient and have very strong sales skills and especially in cold calling etc as you will have to generate your own business and create leads, Leads are not always handed to you.
As per freeiers comments, The market has indeed gone quiet and having spoken to a few HH firms they have told me that hiring is currently on hold. | |
