USA Proxy marriages honored for dependents Visa??

In a tough situation, girlfriend pregnant back in the states and I am out here on a work Visa. It is my understanding that if we get married she can move out here under a dependents Visa. I know she could move out here and we could get married, but that could takes time to get married then 4 more weeks to get Visa. Being pregnant she would need to get medical care, and I understand that is cheap/free once she gets a HK ID after the dependents Visa. Sooo, our best option would be for us to get a proxy marriage (colorado does them) and then we could apply for a dependents visa while she is still in the states and then when she moves out here she will be ready to go from day one (visa, HK ID, and medical services) My main question is whether or not HK Immigration would honor a Proxy marriage from the US in regards to getting a dependents Visa. I have a great job with staff quarters so I feel I would easily get approved once married. Thanks for any input/ advice

The HK government won't accept proxy marriages or "common law" ones either. So you'll have to accept that the timing of marriage, visas, etc. is not going to get your girlfriend free medical treatment for the birth in HK. You'll have to get used to forking for things because you've got years and years of that ahead...

She could just come here and you could get married in Hong Kong, and have the dependant's visa done in a few weeks time.
