i am at late 20s with an engineering degree, been working in the manufacturing field for few year.

the manufacturing is declining sharply in recent years, the jobs are moving to northeren china and the salary is low.

i am thinking to change to IT field as i do have some programming experience (during my study) and interest. I don't wanna do a degree, but i know there are tones of programme certifcates with i can take(java, oracle , e.t.c.), they may be short cut for me to find a job.

do u think after i obtain those certifcate could help me find a job? what is the hottest/useful certifcate at the moment?
