Need some advertising advice

Hello All

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice as to how to advertise myself as a personal trainer, particularly to the expat community in HK.

I'm ISSA certified and was a trainer in California, just within the clients own house gym or complex gym as well as did a lot of outdoor training.

I've moved to HK and go to Shenzhen alot, and have been trying to start up a large chinese client base, but they just don't seem to see the value of personal training.

I've given up on Shenzhen and feel it needs to open up a bit more and become more aware about fitness and health before personal training can really take off.

I'm now focussing on HK and particularly the expats.

If anyone can give me any sort of advice as to how to advertise myself it would be really appreciated.
Are there HK personal trainer associations that i could join?

I've replied to a few people inquiring about a fitness trainer on this site without much luck.

Cheers

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

You need to target the areas where there are a traditionally higher number of expats living in say apartment complexes with its own gym.

Mid Levels, Kennedy Town area, Tung Chung i.e carribean coast etc and look for a local park n shop or wellcome supermarket and post up ads offering your service.

Also put in an ad in the classified section of this forum too.

Just curious whether you have the right to work in Hong Kong? If not then anyone who hires you is breaking the law...
