Being new here and in an HR type business (CEO), I am interested in meeting people who are in HR or HR related fields and possibly IHRM members. I am planning on joining but new applications only get processed at their next committee meeting in Aprio so not yet a part of it.

Any here as part of Geoexpat community?

I will be at the happy hour this Friday again but it might be nice to know who are in HR also and share some common interests.

I was an active member for years of the BC HRMA group including speaking at conferences and also served as their conference chair once. I left HR when I was promoted to VP in mostly non HR functions however our local company has an HR focus.
