We're playing this Sunday, 1pm, in Tung Chung (7-aside artificial grass pitch on Man Tung Road).

Pretty much everyone's welcome, we can still easily do with a few more players.

What to wear: Either a red or blue top (or both), trainers or astro-turf football boots (not full metal studs). That's about it.

Pitch location: http://www.hamsapfc.com/uploads/pitch_tungchung.jpg

Updated schedule:

June 15th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 1pm.

June 22nd Football at Aberdeen concrete pitch, 10am (to be confirmed).

June 29th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 3pm.

July 6th Football at Happy Valley grass pitch, 1:30pm.

Shall we, err, start trying to book late evening matches?

The heat in the afternoon is unbearable at the moment. I'm getting headaches if I'm walking in the sun for more than 10 minutes. I booked the Tung Chung pitch again this morning, but for 1pm... the only other available slot was 8pm (till 9:30). I was thinking maybe that's a bit late, as it means some people not getting home till 11pm or so, on a Sunday night before work... but maybe it's a more sensible time than the early afternoon. A bit less heat and sunburn... though maybe not a whole lot less heat, it seems insanely hot 24/7.

Anyway, upcoming schedule for now;

June 29th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 3pm.

July 6th Football at Happy Valley grass pitch, 1:30pm.

July 13th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 11:30am.

July 20th Football at Tung Chung grass pitch, 1pm.

Maybe when I book the 27th I should try to get it around 8pm, what do people think?

Anyone up for the Euro 2008 final after the match on Sunday? I know a few of us will be doing it, so just throwing it out there.

Germany for the win!*

(*In 3 hours that statement might make me look like an idiot.)

Sure, come along - 3pm this Sunday, Tung Chung (pitch details here; Hamsap FC - Pitch details )

It'll be "cloudy with scattered showers" but hopefully not so wet as the ruin the game.

We might actually have enough substitutes this time.

That was an insanely great last 10 minutes of Germany Vs Turkey. Well, that would have been if the satellite images didn't keep dropping for the last 15 minutes of the match and cutting to long shots of the crowd...

Germany still for the win then.
