Terrible result. Damn the little tarts!

(Bump: This Sunday, Aberdeen football pitch! Meeting 9:45am CWB!)

Anyone going to the Man City/Juve games tonight? I called and there's still 10,000 tickets available (out of 30,000), going for $200 - $320 each. I might go if I can get away from work on time, but you need to actually buy the tickets directly at the stadium in Happy Valley.

I'm in for the matches and the Drinks on Sat 7th - We'll need to get a good place to go - I know there is a real good bar off Chatham Road in TST that has Euro 08 plastered outside and has a few large screens inside - theres a few round there so should be busy.
Maybe LKF or Wan Chai might throw kickoff event?

Maybe we can get a number of people attending the fooball matches on here and then start a new thread inviting people to Euro '08 launch event or something?

This Sunday's match might be cancelled - the opponent team have to pull out this week (they have another match, and also concerns that rain will cancel the match too). They'll give us the pitch booking if we want it though.

If we can get at least 12-14+ players for two sides within our group, we can still go and take the pitch for a friendly kickabout, otherwise I guess it's cancelled (or, if it's raining cats and dogs at 9 or 10am, also cancelled!)

We had 8 players last week, but in total I think we've had 14 or 15 people turn up on different weekends, and a few who've signed up but haven't made it to matches yet, so if we can get a large turnout this weekend we could still make it.
