| Hello, I would like to check if anyone could advise on the time line of an employment. I read from the HK immigration website that it takes about 4-6 weeks for an EP to be approved. Anyone had theirs approved before 4 weeks? I am a Singaporean who is planning to work in HK. Thanks heaps! |

| Unless the company has petitioned IMMD for your employment visa and convinced them that you're needed in HK ASAP, it should take 4+ weeks. Usually 4 weeks.

| If your Employer (sponsor) has done it before then they can often get it at around 4 weeks because they are known to Immigration, and they know what they need to submit/say. If they are doing it for the first time it will tend to take longer. |

| It took 20 days to get mine, but i think immigration already had a file on me. I also had a well known american university and hong kong company on it. |
