Does anyone know where to buy .40 caliber paintball markers (a.k.a. paintball guns) in Hong Kong? I have read that they sell airsoft gear in Dundas and Kwong Wa street in Mongkok, but no word on paintball guns.

I have a cunning plan to buy ten of them and then get a casual paintball club up and running based out in Discovery Bay.

Playing indoors at Paintball HQ is fun, but I prefer outdoor paintball, and booking a game at P.HQ is expensive and time consuming as you have to wait weeks for your bookings. No room for spontaneous outings.

I know that the law in HKG prohibits the .68 caliber guns commonly used in the USA and Europe, however the only .40 legal guns I can find online are Real Action Paintball Markers with a price tag of $400++ USD.

If anyone knows of a place to buy reasonably priced .40 caliber weapons, I would be most grateful.

Alternatively, if you have your own .40 caliber HKG legal paintball gear and want to join in on future games, please let me know and I will put you on a mailing list when we are up and running

Airsoft seems to rule Hong Kong and the forums. Alas, I am just a die hard paintball fan, as I am sick of playing with people who need to be shot point blank before they admit to being hit.

I have reconned the Mongkok stores, no paintball gear for sale. You can buy 6mm paintballs on the net, anyone know of an airsoft gun which can reliably shoot 6mm paintballs without bursting in the gun?

If you have a facebook account, look for "Hong Kong Paintball" and you will see how far we are progressing.

Never did find a legal paintball gun in Hong Kong. So I have arranged for a factory in China to special order some. Delivery supposed to be sometime in May/June.

Put your name down on the facebook "group" and I will keep you posted on future games.

I have a cunning plan on charging a nominal rental fee, and then giving the guns away once people have rented the value of the gun.

The more people out there with markers, the more people to kill.

At least that is the theory.

Very strange, When I was last there they had them on display with price tags on.
