Anyone tried to apply for Quality Migrant Scheme?

I checked the Immigration about the Quality Migrant Scheme website. Anyone applied and any success? Please share your experience what happened after application?

I think this would be the wrong place to ask this question as most people here on the forums have some sort of visa or residency in HK anyway.

One of the original criteria, which has since been relaxed, was the ability to read and write Chinese. This has now been replaced buy Chinese or English, although more points are awarded for both. Not many have been attracted by the scheme, we've seen a few well knowns come down from the mainland but the application rate is far below the quotas made available.

Since it began in mid-2006, there have been fewer than 600 applications (quota of 1000 p.a.) with a 69% approval rate. Some of those include concert pianist and Olympic athletes from China.

As you can see, it's not that popular. Then again if you have the points, why not apply... The government seems to want to boost the figures.
